Objective: To investigate the botanical characteristics, phytochemical constituents, and antioxidant activity of Xenostegia tridentata. Materials and Methods: X. tridentata samples collected in Da Nang City, Vietnam, were examined for morphological, anatomical, and powder characteristics. Phytochemical constituents were identified using chemical tests and thin-layer chromatography. Antioxidant activity was evaluated using the DPPH free radical scavenging assay. Results: Morphological, anatomical, and powder characteristics of X. tridentata were documented. Phytochemical screening revealed the presence of flavonoids, polyphenols, coumarins, tannins, sterols, reducing sugars, and organic acids. The extract exhibited moderate antioxidant activity with an IC₅₀ value of 0.2111 mg/mL. Conclusion: This study provides scientific data on the botanical characteristics, phytochemical composition, and antioxidant activity of X. tridentata, supporting further research and potential medicinal applications.
