1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

The Da Nang Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy (DJMP) is committed to protecting authors' intellectual property rights while facilitating broad access, dissemination, and reuse of scholarly content under the Journal's Open Access policy.

DJMP distinguishes between:

• Copyright ownership;
• Licensing terms governing use and reuse.
2. COPYRIGHT OWNERSHIP

Authors retain copyright in their articles, unless a different arrangement is clearly stated.

Upon acceptance for publication, authors grant DJMP:

• Other rights reasonably necessary for journal publication.
Granting publication rights to DJMP does not transfer authors' copyright ownership.

Under this license, users may:

• Copy;
• Distribute;
• Transmit;

• Other copyrighted materials.
Authors are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions and clearly identifying any separate copyright or licensing conditions.

9. PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED OR OVERLAPPING MATERIAL

Authors must not submit previously published material in a manner that violates copyright or constitutes duplicate publication.

Where previously published material is reused, authors must:

• Provide appropriate attribution;
• Transparently disclose the reuse;
• Obtain permission where required by applicable copyright terms.
10. RESEARCH DATA AND SUPPLEMENTARY MATERIALS

Copyright and licensing terms for research data, software, supplementary files, or other intellectual-property assets may differ from those governing the article itself.

Authors must comply with the relevant data, software, and intellectual-property requirements.

11. CORRECTIONS AND RETRACTIONS

A Correction, Retraction, or Expression of Concern does not erase the copyright status or publication history of an article.

The article's current status and relevant post-publication notices should remain transparent.

12. POLICY TRANSPARENCY

DJMP publicly states:

• Who owns copyright;
• What publication rights are granted to the Journal;
