No. Manuscripts submitted to DJMP must be original scholarly work that has not previously been published and must not be under consideration by another journal or publicly accessible database.

No. DJMP does not accept manuscripts that are simultaneously under consideration by another journal or publicly accessible database.

5. In which languages may manuscripts be submitted?

Manuscripts may be submitted in Vietnamese or English.

• 1.5-line spacing;
• Fully justified text;
• 2 cm margins on all sides;
• Page numbers at the bottom-right corner;
• Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
8. Does the manuscript need to be anonymized?

Yes. Author names and institutional affiliations must be separated from the main manuscript and provided in a separate file. The manuscript used for peer review must be anonymized.

9. What are the minimum files required for submission?

Two files are mandatory:

1. DJMP-AF01 – Title Page and Author Information;
2. The main manuscript with all author names and institutional affiliations removed.

Tables, figures, diagrams, charts, captions, and supplementary materials may also be submitted where applicable.

10. What is the maximum length of the abstract?

The Vietnamese and English abstracts should each be no longer than 300 words.

For Original Articles, the abstract should include: Objective – Methods – Results – Conclusion.

11. How many keywords does DJMP require?

The current Author Guidelines do not specify a mandatory number of keywords or require the use of MeSH/DeCS terms.

Therefore, the official FAQ should not impose a fixed number until DJMP formally adopts such a requirement.

12. How many tables and figures may be included in one article?

Under the current DJMP requirements, the combined total number of tables, figures, diagrams, and charts must not exceed 5.

Examples:
3 tables + 2 figures = 5: acceptable.

Images should be clear and have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. DJMP recommends high-quality formats such as TIFF, JPEG, or PNG.

14. Which reference style does DJMP use?

DJMP uses the Vancouver style. References are numbered in the order in which they first appear in the manuscript, with citation numbers presented as superscripts after punctuation. The Journal encourages the use of recent references, particularly publications from the past five years from reputable scientific databases.

C. ETHICS AND DECLARATIONS
15. Is an ethics statement required for research articles?

Yes, where the study requires ethical review. Research involving human participants must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki and applicable regulations. Ethics committee approval information should be provided where required.

If there are no conflicts of interest, authors may state:
“The authors declare no conflicts of interest.”
18. Should the contribution of each author be stated?

DJMP is moving toward including an Author Contributions statement among the end-of-article declarations. This section should clearly describe each author's contribution to the research and manuscript preparation.

19. Is a research data statement required?

DJMP is moving toward including a Data Availability Statement.

• Data are publicly available in a data repository;
• Data are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request;

This is a new supplementary requirement and was not included in the original Author Guidelines.

20. How do I submit a manuscript to DJMP?

Sign in to the OJS system and select:

NEW SUBMISSION

The submission workflow includes: Details → Upload Files → Contributors → For the Editors → Review.

Yes. The submitting author should use the “Add Contributor” function to enter all co-authors and arrange them in the correct order. The author list and order in OJS must match the information provided in DJMP-AF01.

22. May I suggest reviewers?

Under the current OJS instructions, authors may suggest suitable reviewers, but this is not mandatory. Final reviewer selection is the responsibility of the Editorial Board in order to minimize conflicts of interest.

23. Can I edit my manuscript after clicking “Submit”?

Normally, no. Once the submission has been completed, authors cannot directly edit the manuscript unless the system allows it or an editor provides assistance. Authors should therefore carefully check the metadata and uploaded files before clicking Submit.

30. Where do I upload a revised manuscript?

At the Review stage, go to the Revisions Required section and select:

UPLOAD REVISION

After uploading the revised files, authors are encouraged to use Review Discussions to notify the Editorial Team.

The manuscript will proceed to Copyediting → Production. Authors may be asked to review copyedited files or proofs and respond to the Editorial Team before publication.
