DJMP Volume 2, Issue 3 (2026): Research Diversity – Broader Contributions – Advancing Scientific Quality
The Danang Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy (DJMP) is pleased to announce the publication of Volume 2, Issue 3 (2026), released in September 2026. This new issue reflects DJMP’s continued commitment to enhancing research quality, broadening its scholarly community, and progressively aligning its publishing practices with international standards.
A key strength of this issue is its strong emphasis on original scientific research. Of the 13 published articles, 11 (84.6%) are original research articles, accompanied by one review article and one clinical case report.
The issue demonstrates notable multidisciplinary diversity, featuring research across public health, microbiology and antimicrobial resistance, neurosurgery, nursing, pharmacy, rehabilitation, obstetrics, traditional medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, geriatrics, and urology.
Another highlight is the increasing diversity of research designs. In addition to descriptive studies, this issue includes prospective studies, controlled intervention studies, community-based controlled interventions, cultural adaptation and validation of assessment instruments, and clinical case reporting. This methodological diversity represents a positive development in the scientific depth of research published by DJMP.
The issue also features studies with substantial sample sizes and datasets. Among quantitative original studies, 63.6% included sample sizes of 100 or more. The largest study analyzed 4,632 bacterial isolate records, while other notable studies involved 420 pharmacists and 410 older adults, respectively.
DJMP continues to strengthen the diversity and openness of its contributor base. In Volume 2, Issue 3, 61.5% of articles included at least one author or institutional affiliation from outside the Danang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy (DUMTP), while 53.8% were contributed entirely by authors from external institutions. The issue includes 59 author contributions, with an average of 4.54 authors per article.
Research ethics and open-access publishing remain important priorities for DJMP. All 11 original research articles (100%) included research ethics information, and all 13 articles (100%) were published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). In addition, all articles provided corresponding author information and publication history, including Received, Accepted, and Published dates.
With 13 scientific articles across diverse health disciplines, 84.6% original research, 61.5% of articles involving contributors from outside DUMTP, and 100% open-access publication under CC BY 4.0, Volume 2, Issue 3 (2026) represents another step forward in DJMP’s development as an open, multidisciplinary, transparent, and research-oriented scholarly journal.
The Danang Journal of Medicine and Pharmacy sincerely thanks all authors, reviewers, editors, and members of the scientific community for their valuable contributions and continued support.
We warmly invite our readers to explore Volume 2, Issue 3 (2026) and discover the latest research published in DJMP.
